About Köln & Bonn

Köln Cathedral (KÖLN TOURISMUS) : Rheingarten (KÖLN TOURISMUS) : Bonn, Old Town Hall (Bonn, Tourismus & Congress GmbH)

About Köln: Köln, a lively, cosmopolitan city, is famous for its magnificent Gothic cathedral which took more than 600 years to complete. Climb the south tower for a splendid view of the bustling city centre with its Romanesque churches and the impressive Römisch-Germanisches Museum. A visit to the Chocolate Museum with its freshly-stocked chocolate fountain, production line and shop is not to be missed. Gain an insight into the history and everchanging face of sport at the neighbouring German Sports and Olympic Museum.

About Bonn: Known as the “Gateway to the Romantic Rhine”, Bonn is an attractive and cultural city with an interesting history dating back over 2000 years. The top class museums of Bonn’s “Museum Mile” include the distinctive Art and Exhibition Hall, the House of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Museum of Modern Art. A tour of the Beethoven House, birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven, the world famous composer, is a must-see for all visitors to this inviting city.
