The gently flowing river Moselle meandering through vine covered valleys and picturesque towns together with the unspoilt nature of the beautiful Eifel region provide a wide variety of interesting excursions.

 Cochem

The attractive wine town of Cochem is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the Moselle area.

Perched high above the town, Cochem’s fairytale Reichsburg Castle is an impressive sight, from which narrow streets with gabled houses, interesting shops and a lively town square can all be easily reached. The Cochem chair-lift takes you to the Pinnerkreuz for panoramic views of the Moselle valley.

An animal and leisure park is located here. See how mustard is made on a tour of Cochem’s historic mustard mill which produces award-winning mustard specialities to its own recipes.

For fun and relaxation, the water adventure park at the Freizeitzentrum is a perfect choice.
