The gently flowing river Moselle meandering through vine covered valleys and picturesque towns together with the unspoilt nature of the beautiful Eifel region provide a wide variety of interesting excursions.

 Bitburg

Bitburg is an attractive town with an idyllic location in the heart of the Eifel region, just 30 minutes drive from the Roman City of Trier.

A range of interesting excursions in the Moselle and Eifel regions as well as the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg are easy to reach from Bitburg. For pure enjoyment in Bitburg itself, choose from “Cascade” the water-world swimming centre or Funpark Eissporthalle offering roller-blading, climbing, hockey, darts, table-tennis and trampolining. Of course, the famous Bitburger Pils is brewed here in Bitburg. Guided tours of the brewery, one of the biggest in Europe, provide a real insight into the technology involved.
