Christmas market at Köln Cathedral
The Cathedral Christmas market attracts visitors with 160 attractively designed wooden booths. Beneath the largest Christmas tree in the Rhineland, you can choose from numerous sweet delicacies, watch artisans at work and enjoy the "original Christmas mulled wine" out of the festively decorated Chistmas mugs.
Christmas market, Old Town, "Home of the Heinzel"
You will find this special and extraordinary Christmas market on the Alter Markt in front of Köln’s town hall and on the Heumarkt. According to an old Köln legend, the elves were particularly skilful and diligent craftsmen. Therefore, this market offers an abundance of handicraft stalls where the products are still traditionally made.
Angels’ market - Christmas at Neumarkt
The oldest Christmas market of Köln at the Neumarkt will be designed as a Market of Angels. A splendid angels’ gate can be seen at the central city square in the shopping quarter. The attractive stalls with figures of angels, Christmassy lights and objects of art provide an enchanting atmosphere.
Fairytale Christmas market at Rudolfplatz
This Christmas market takes you to the world of fairy tales. Against the historic backdrop of the medieval
Hahnentorburg, large fairy-tale figures and festive illuminations will delight you.
