Discover the mysteries of chocolate making on a fascinating tour at this Chocolate Factory in Beussent.This is a paradise for chocolate lovers. From the initial plantation of the cocoa trees to the coating of the final product, all will be revealed. The owners, Bruno and Alain Derick, travel to the Rain Forest each year to personally select cocoa beans from their own plantations, ensuring that only the very finest are chosen to be transformed into dark rich chocolate of at least 70% cocoa. Find out the advantages of eating a little chocolate every day! Your tour will end with a chocolate tasting and an opportunity to visit the factory shop to take some of your favourites home with you.

Enjoy a visit to a family-owned bakery. Take a tour around the modern part of the bakery to see croissants in production and then conclude your visit in the original part of the bakery to watch a baker at his work using a traditional wood oven. He will be happy to respond to your questions. Depending on availability, you may take away samples of delicious baguettes and croissants.

Take a trip down memory lane at a traditional sweet factory, conveniently located in Boulogne. Watch carefully as the ingredients are heated in a copper pan, allowed to cool on a special table and fed through a machine to create their unique fruit shapes. You may even be asked to assist! In addition to 16 different fruit-flavoured sweets; nougat, truffles, marzipan, lollipops and fruit jellies are also made here. Their shop will be hard to resist.
